On Friday 30th January: vernissage “Painting Project Beirut”

The drawings tell the life from children. The ones who go to the kindergarten of the refugees’ camp “Bourj el-Barajneh”, located in the suburbs of the Lebanese capital. They express their wishes for the future.

Most the young artists’ life is shaped by the experience of the Syrian civil war.

“We hope that these artworks lead to a reflexion on international peace politics, on the one of Germany regarding refugees and on the immediate measures that regions on war should be supplied with.

It was an honour for us to be able to speak with the children and to hear their ideas.”
